I've purchase glasses from these folks several times and while their optometrist is very friendly and thorough, their sales and service staff leave a lot to be desired. During my last visit with my elderly mother, we intended to get her eyes examined and get two pairs of prescription reading glasses that were advertised as '2 for $60". After picking out the frames we sat down with a sales rep to have the order written up and she quoted us close to $300 for both pairs telling us that we 'wouldn't be happy with the quality' of the on-sale lenses. When I told her that we wanted the sales price lenses, she re-calculated the ticket but still came up with $140 saying that she 'upgraded the lenses from glass to plastic'. I again had to tell her to re-write the ticket for the advertised lenses, at which point she became very surly and abrupt apparently deciding that there was no commission to be made with us, and told us that it would take two weeks to get the appropriate lenses in. It's now been 16 days and they just called to say that 1 of the 2 pairs was ready; no telling when the second pair will be in. This was altogether a very unpleasant and unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend this establishment unless you like to fight with sales reps.
While the initial purchase was pretty painless, waiting for my actual glasses has been anything but! I waited the alloted two week timeframe they told me it would take and didn't hear from them. After I called them, I was informed it would take an additional 14 days because the machine was not working properly. Absolutely poor customer service. I hope when I receive my glasses the product is not at the same level of quality as their customer service.
I don't know about Sunday, but I just called this location and scheduled an eye exam for Saturday -- the "hours" chart on the overview page here is incorrect in saying they are closed on weekends. Not sure what the rating is, but this makes you put in a rating to leave a comment.
Good things
I went here because they were open on Saturday and I found out Friday night I had eye issues. I was told I had tracking issues and it was normal for people my age. (36 yr old) Good thing my Dr sent me to optomology that week. I have optic nerve damage. For vision checks you may be ok. For eye issues don't trust this location.
