Not sure how to feel about this place. I walked in and nobody greeted me. The food didn't have the best flavor and they were eating mcdonalds at the bar when I came in... seems more like a family living room than a restaurant
Total rip off. They simply type random prices into their calculator / printer and hand you a check with no description. It's obvious they charge whatever they think they can get away with. They also charge a 10% tax which is odd, since the state of Virginia charges 5.3%. I felt like my money was stolen.
Mediocre quality and service. The horchata is good. They charge 10% "sales tax". I doubt anyone is keeping books here.
First off, food was NOT authentic..Pupusas are made with American cheese and had little to no meat, yucca order was small, overpriced and clearly old rotten yucca. Service was terrible, wait-staff acted like she didn't understand her job. Regular drinks overpriced, $2.95 for soda, refills not available for free. As a Californian, and Latina would suggest you find another place to eat.
BEWARE! Overpriced and horrible service. Be careful with your bill they will try to overcharge you. We ordered one beer one margarita and one plate of tacos and were charged 36 dollars! I asked to see why and they couldn't explain. Waitress tried to tell us it was over 13 just on taxes. She added her own 15% tip and decided to round off. Stay away and don't waste it on an overpriced 10.95 mediocre margarita.
