Never in my life have I been able to witness something like this. Fascinating to see the working grist mill and distillery. The staff know their facts and made it an absolute pleasure to visit.
Very interesting. Both as historic Mill and as distillery. Good guides. Whiskey is expensive.
Don't forget this place when you plan your visit to Mount Vernon! During the tour they actually operate the mill so you can see first hand how it works. Our tour guide was nice and very informative.
This was a very cool experience. I do wish there was a way to try the alcohol without spending an arm and a leg but I understand why.
This was one of my favorite stops while in DC and found it by accident. Nice gift shop and really cool tour. They still used the mill and make real alcohol hear and sell it. Highly suggest a visit
We went during a weekday and were the only ones there so it's much quieter than the plantation.
