Taken the train, metro, and trolley from here. Great station. It's clean and very central. they also offer free trolley service right from the metro all the way down to the water front with several stops along the way so you can shop and dine in old town Alexandria. So it's a great thing to put on your to do list--and cheap if you don't want to eat out you can just take the trolley down to the waterfront to enjoy the scenery.
Stop showing me this, Google. I am not near or at king street station. I want to stop seeing this. I have tried turning off location. That doesn't work.
Nice station, and scenic on a sunny day. However, the Washington D.C. metro; while having larger stations, and cleaner cars - is just so ineffective, trains rarely arrive on time and there is always some type of delay. You are always waiting. There is also no bathroom.
