We basically go here because of the location but we also go to another place as much as possible. We have shopped at Giants and on a few occasions have received bad food. A couple off top of my head we brought sour milk home and as well as spoiled sausage. Giant doesn't have a lot of brand selections compared to Safeway or Harris Teeter. The store also looks outdated. We have seen flies around the "fresh" vegetables section. Especially around the onions. The pharmacy is really excellent and Giants gas points are better than most of the other grocery stores. The cashiers that work there seem to be nice even though we have seen the manager scream at employees. Also prices aren't as competitive compared to other grocery stores.
Love it! That where I shop! Could make some improvements in the deli. People are always friendly but closes to early.
Good customer service. Bananas were wiped out. The remaining bananas did not look good. A raw package of chicken was sitting on the shelf in the bread isle.
I've been to this deli only a few times. Everytime I've been the deli the employees have been... For the lack of a better word "cold." They aren't friendly at all and appear annoyed when I ask for an item that readily available. They don't even say thank you or you're welcome at the end of the encounter.
By far the best Giant around. I rank it with Whole foods and Wegmans in the friendly and competent employees department. Definitely has the best butcher around. It's in a nice neighborhood.
