No issues taking the Metro from DC to King Street. Ontime and was clean.
Fairly nice for a smaller train station. Some snack machines, nice places to sit, good architecture, good views. Not that many outlets in the main seating area, and not much else within immediate walking distance to do while you're waiting.
Amtrak staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a great alternative to board over Union station. The station is original and well preserved.
Terrible parking lot that is fairly difficult to turn left out of. The few times I've gone inside its been a bit dirty and somw staff seemed uninterested in anything.
We traveled thru there today staff was having a bad attitude day ,,at the charlottesville station they are very nice greeted with smile ...
