Anti Republican establishment....in my opinion. My wife ordered a cake with a Republican theme on it and they butchered what she requested it to say on the cake. Wrong words and mispellings, etc...a clear purposeful move by the baker.. super disappointed.. my wife had been going here for years and no longer going back.. super offended..

my boyfriend and I absolutely love this place. Their pastries, quiche, and coffee are fantastic. I also left my purse lying in a seat for 15 minutes, and had it recovered by the friendly staff, with everything still in it. High quality service and food.
As long as they continue to slave in the kitchen, I won’t be for another holiday dinner.
We hosted a ladies mimosa brunch at a home in Springfield and Alexandria Pastry was second to none! The food was top notch working with an 11 day notice! They delivered early and professionally. They service staff provided with first class. They ladies took care of food replenishment, clearing dishes and returning the home they way they found it. Very good choice for your catering needs.
I have been a fan of this bakery for 10 years, and have not found better baked goods, salads & quick meals anywhere. If you have not had their Thanksgiving dinner you pick up and serve-you are wasting time. I began buying sides years back for the holiday dinner. Four years ago I had a broken ankle, and ordered the entire feast! And since then, I only bake my own pies. I consider myself a pretty good cook, but it does not outshine what I bring home from the Alexandria Bakery! Now I still serve delicious homemade taste without the prep and clean up. My time is more about sharing the delicious meals with family. The family that owns and prepares all the goodies are wonderful and always friendly. It feels like giving your order to your Uncle and knowing Grandma & Grandpa will be cooking.
Fantastic establishment. The staff is always friendly and professional, the food is great and the place is clean. I started working close by in the summer and pick up lunch for my boss here nearly everyday and one thing I've noticed is that the staff hasn't changed. In the food service industry that says a lot about a place. Also, the handful off occasions I've seen the owner there, he knows all of the shop regulars and is personable with them. I absolutely love this place.
