The store features a wide selection of fresh and preserved foodstuffs from many parts of the Near East, as well as European delicacies. The staff are warm and friendly, and the hot foods to order are very nice and genuine in taste and character.
I have been going to this place for many years. I grew up in Alexandria. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was still there after a visit I made in Alexandria. When you go there it is medium sized but packed with goodies. From the fresh made hummus, vegetarian dolmas, and the macaroons were to die for. They had halal meat dolmas, but unfortunately they were a bit dry for my taste. The lentils with onions were delicious. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for the freshness of the products I mentioned. Your missing put if you don't try it.
Quite place with lots of fresh products specially their bread is one of the best in town. Managish is my favorite thing to early here specially meat with cheese.
Great food at the cafe, nice people, great selection of grocery items, including bulk olives and backlava by the piece and by the pound. Would recommend!
